this photograph to me is of a curtain. imagine curtains that look like landscapes, landscapes blowing in the wind.
i've been thinking a lot about wallpaper, actually wallpaper. there used to be artists who would design wallpaper, and people would cover the insides of there homes with this art, and it was overlooked and unnoticed. i remember in my mothers bedroom she had a floral wallpaper, pastel purple and blues and i looked at it so much. i would find many things in the flowers. and now trying to use the internet to explore for some of these never ending patterns i can only find desktop wallpaper. wallpaper is now unsightly and a pain to remove to make better way for a modern white to put various things including framed paintings on. and so i play with the thought of walking into a room or even a gallery space with four walls covered in different wallpaper patterns. so check out charles burchfields wallpaper designs ama is on its way.
